O secretário de estado do Interior Salvador Rodrigues, disse que os promotores da manifestação de sábado último, não cumpriram com as regras exigidas pelas autoridades. O governante afirmou que os organizadores da manifestação, foram advertidos a não realização de tal acto em função da entrada em vigor do novo decreto que proíbe o ajuntamento de mais de cinco pessoas na via Pública.

The UNAids director to Angola, Michel Kouakou urged the Angolan government to continue investing in the fight against HIV/Aids, malaria and Tuberculosis. Michel Kouakou added that the investment should target the key and vulnerable population in the communities. According to him, the country has to tackle the reduction of incidence in scaling up effective prevention.

Economist, Caetano Capitao commends the impact of the Programme for Credit Support (PAC). Caetano Capitao said that this project will help the rehabilitation of the Angolan economy affected by Covid-19 pandemic. According to him, the programme is creating jobs in the sectors of agriculture and industry as well as boost local production.

Contrary to the years of Independence, Angolan literature is now occupying a very good place at the international arena, where people are interested in reading books of angolan writers. At the moment one of the challenges is to continue taking the angolan literature to french and English speaking countries.

Zambia celebrates today its 56th Independence anniversary and elects the development of infrastructure as well as the construction of a pipeline to boost economic cooperation with Angola. Despite the covid-19 pandemic, the two countries are working together to achieve this goal in a short and medium term. According to the Zambian ambassador to Angola, these project will facilitate the free movement of peoples and increase trade.
