Demining organizations are committed to clear the country by 2025

Non Governmental Organizations operating in Angola are committed to clear the country from landmines and explosive devices in 2025. They believe that with some additional funding it is possible to achieve this goal by this period. The most affected provinces with landmines are Kuando Kubango, Bie, Kwanza Sul and Moxico. According to the Apopo Project Manager, Manuel Agostinho, they are focused on fulfilling with the obligations of Ottawa Convention.

Angolans have to continue promoting the good image of the country abroad

Sociologist Joao Cassule said that Angola has overcome some of the international barriers for its cadres to assume leadership positions at international organizations. Joao Cassule believes that the leadership of President Joao Lourenço made Angola to get such confidence and recognition. US spends about 200 thousand dollars for Fulbright Scholarship for angolan students

The US government spends each year about 200 thousand dollars for Fulbright Scholarship directed to Angolan students.
