The Leader of the Salvation Army Church, Garcia Matondo highlighted the role the church has played in the last 45 years of the country´s independence. According to him, the church has always been present in the best and difficult moment the country went through. He points as well the contribution of the church for the social and economic development of the country with stress to education and health.  

Literature has achieved great progress in the last 45 years of Independence. According to writer Fragata de Morais, the angolan literature is now diversified with a certain quality in its content. Fragata de Morais said that in the 80s, Angola gained new writers who have contributed for the development of literature.

The Aid of People to People Development (ADPP) spends annually 5 million US dollars in education projects in Angola. This was announced by ADPP CEO, Rikki Viholm in na interview to this channel. According to her, this figure should be much more taking into account to what they have been doing.
