O director da ONU-SIDA em angola Michel Kuakú, disse que das várias etapas definidas pelo PNUD em apoiar as iniciativas do governo angolano e parceiros, na luta contra o HIV-SIDA conheceu o seu ponto mais alto com o financiamento a semana passada pelo Fundo Global de 82 milhões de dólares.

Indian government is considering Angola´s proposal for the supply of vacines from the Covax initiative. The angolan government requested India for the supply of the vaccine for more than 50% of its population. This was announced by the Indian ambassador to Angola, Pratibha (Pratiba) Parkar, who stressed that her government will as well process Angola´s request.
