National Institute for Water Resources is developing a river bacin Master Plan for a better use of water resources.

The director of the National Institute for Water Resources, Manuel Quintino said that the institute is developing a river bacin masterplan for a better use of the water resources. Manuel Quintino said that it is one of the main peiorities of his institution for the 2021-2022 period. According to him, the other priority lies on the elaboration of a roadmap related to the safety of dams.

Family farming secured food for angolan consummers during the lockdown

The director general of the National Institute for Agriculture, David Tunga said that Covid-19 pandemic has strongly affected food producing system in the country. David Tunga, who was speaking on the drought situation in the country said that movement restrictions have reduced production. The official added that despite this constraints, peasant in the rural areas continued with their production, which helped to secure food to the angolan consummers.
