Foreign entities congratulate Angola for the celebration of 50 years of independence. They praise the efforts of Angola in achieving peace and stability after having a civil war that killed thousands of lives Angolans. Senior Business Development Manager of De Beers, Simanguela Sony highlighted the progress Angola has achieved in the last 50 years of its independence with highlight to the mining sector.

The Coordinator of AUDA-NEPAD at the African Union Commission, Abdel Kader Araoua highlighted the importance that the Angolan government gave to former African leaders. Abdel Kader Araoua said that the recognition of the Angolan government to foreign entities shows their commitment of seeing Angola free from the colonial yoke. The official felt proud for Angola to bring the initiative in the celebration of its 50th independence anniversary.
