The ministry of Social Assistence, Women and Family Promotion is holding next week a trade fair for angolan women entrepreneurs. The event to be held in partenership with the Women Cooperative of Talatona Municipality will bring together angolan businesswomen operating in various fields. This was announced in Luanda by the African Director of Women Value to Angola, Angela Diamantino.

Analysts congratulated President Joao Lourenço for his initiative of revising the constitution. Jurist Chionga Nunes considers it as a normal process legally conceived by the Constitution of the Country. Professor Chionga Nunes adds that the review must also address educational and cultural aspect. According to him, it is important to bring education as free for all levels of the teaching system in the country.

Women entrepreneurship in Angola has recorded positive results in the last few years. This was said by the director of African Women of Value, Angela Diamantino. According to her, angolan women are very active mainly when dealing with the family economy. Angela Diamantino stressed that women have been facing some barriers to take entrepreneurship programme ahead.

Economist Hernany Luis considers the current status of the Exchange rate as a challenging one. According to him, this is due to the fact of having oil as the main export product of Angola. He said that this commodity has recovered in the last days meaning that Angolan currency is getting empowered.
