Unicef is committed to support the angolan government in reducing violence against children. The UN organization also focus its attention in the sectors of health, malnutrition, vaccination and the improvement of the situation of children in Angola. According to Unicef representative to Angola, Ivan Yerovi, these are part of their cooperation agreement with the angolan government until 2022.

Angola is focused in attracting foreign investment in order to improve its economy. Since President Joao Lourenço came to power in 2017, the government managed to set a new agenda for the country. The new agenda includes the improvement of doing business, fighting corruption and attract foreign investment.
