Zimbawe is willing to boost its cooperation ties with Angola in the agricultural sector. According to the Zimbabwean ambassador to Angola, Thandu Maziamuse, they are continuing to look at the sectorial engagemnt to boost cooperation with Angola. Thandu Maziamuse added that the two countries have a lot to learn from each other as long as agriculture is concerned.

Zambian are interested in investing in Angola in many different fields with highlight to agriculture. According to the zambian ambassador to Angola, Lawrence Chalungumana, the interest is meant to respond to the call of president Joao Lourenço for international investors. Lawrence Chalungumana added that Angola has been creating conditions with the approval of the new investment law to attract investors to the country.

South African companies have been strongly investing in Angola in the areas of agriculture, construction, mining, housing, food and beverage. This was announced by the South African ambassador to Angola, Oupa Ephraim Monareng. According to the diplomat, the trade between the two countries has dropped drastically as consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Piracy is a great concern in the region of Gulf of Guinea due to constant attacks in the region. This was announced by the Secretary General of the Gulf of Guinea Commission, Adenike Ukonga in an interview, she granted to the International Channel of Angola National Radio. According to the official, the situation is not so critical despite having recorded some incidents this year.
