Unicef manages 3 million Euros to run Valor Criança project in Luanda

Unicef is managing about 3 million Euros from the European Union to run Valor Criança project in Luanda.

According to Unicef representative to Angola, Ivan Yerovi, the project will have intervention in programmes related to nutrition, health, water and sanitation, education and child protection.

Ivan Yerovi added that the project will contribute to improve the situation of children in Luanda province.

488 million US Dollars is Angola´s victory, economist says

Economist Hernany Luis considers the 4 hundred and 88 milion US dollars loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as a great victory for Angola. The economist said that it is a result of the good implementation of the ongoing reforms in the country. According to him, Angola needs to continue strengthening its privatization programme and apply reforms at the financial sector.
