Domestic Violence in Angola has risen to 60 per cent

The secretary of State for Social Welfare, Family and Women Promotion, Elsa Barber revealed in Luanda that gender based violence has risen to 60% during the lockdown due to Covid-18 Pandemic.

According to Elsa Barber, this data was collected by the centres of family counselling countrywide, during this period of pandemic crisis.

The official said so while addressing the ceremony that marked the lauch of the 15 days of Activism against gender-based violence.
