Angolan population grows 3.1 per cent

The world celebrated the Population Day under the theme: Rights and choices are the answer: Whether baby boom or bust, the solution to shifting fertility rates lies in prioritizing the reproductive health and rights of all people.

The global population stands at about 7.7 billion, and it’s expected to grow to around 8.5 billion in 2030, 9.7 billion in 2050, and 10.9 billion in 2100.

The angolan population reached at about 32 million and 97 thousand and 6 hundred and 71 inhabitants.

According to the demographical technitian of the Angolan Statistics Institute, Joao Ebo, 45 per cent of the angolan population is less than 15 years of age.

He stated that the angolan population grew about 3.1 per cent in the last few years.
