Head of state calls for greater protection of children

President João Lourenço called a few hours ago for greater protection, care and attention to children, taking into account that their well-being is a guarantee for the future of humanity.
In a message marking International Children’s Day celebrated yesterday, the Head of State said the rights, interests and needs of children deserve the constant attention of public authorities, social organizations, charitable institutions and families.
President João Lourenço defended that the ideal would be to treat every day of the year as Children’s Day, so as to ensure that the younger generations receive the affection, dedication and care they expect from their educators and guardians.
In a related story, Louise Daniels, head of the section for social policies at UNICEF in Angola; reported that they´ve seen loads of progress for children in many áreas.

Zambia and Angola want to boost economic development

Zambia and Angola are willing to strengthen investments in order to boost economic development. This was said by the Zambian ambassador to Angola, Elias Munshya, adding that Zambian authorities invites Angolan businesspeople to attend Invest in Zambia conference, set for July this year. Elias Munshya added that the business volume between Zambia and Angola reached at 15 million US dollars in the last few years.
