About 35 million US dollars is the amount that the Global Fund has released for the fight against HIV/Aids in Angola.
This amount is part of the 82 million that the Global Fund has granted to Angola for the fight against Malaria, Tuberculosis and HIV/Aids.
This was announced by the director of the UNAids to Angola, Michel Kouakou, who expressed his satisfaction for such support in the fight against HIV/Aids in the country.

Indian government is considering Angola´s proposal for the supply of vacines from the Covax initiative. The angolan government requested India for the supply of the vaccine for more than 50% of its population. This was announced by the Indian ambassador to Angola, Pratibha (Pratiba) Parkar, who stressed that her government will as well process Angola´s request.
