Le département d’État américain a félicité le Président de la République d’Angola, João Lourenço, pour les «progrès impressionnants» accomplis dans la lutte contre la corruption et contre «le pouvoir des élites», ces deux dernières années.

Selon l’agence Lusa, dans un article auquel l’Angop a eu accès ce jeudi, pour les USA, le succès de la présidence de João Lourenço se traduit également dans la poursuite, la dénonciation et l’accusation d’anciens dirigeants et la nouvelle loi pour lutter contre le blanchiment d’argent et le financement du terrorisme.
