Oil production in Angola can reach the annual target, above the 1.1 million barrels per day

This was recently announced, in Luanda, by the production manager of the National Petroleum Agency, Ana Miala, at the 4th International Conference and exhibition, Angola Oil & Gas 2023 (AOG2023). The increase in levels is justified by the fact that the production of “black gold” reached 1.2 million barrels per day in the second half of this year. The annual oil production target foreseen in the 2023 State General Budget stands at 1,180,000 barrels/day, at an average price of USD 75 per barrel. She said that, over the next few years, the goal is to be above the current levels of production, looking towards the results of the ongoing research and exploration, which are expected to be satisfactory. Regarding the production losses that occur daily, Ana Miala said that they are in the order of 15%, considering the period as a “good year”, taking into account the fact that there is almost no such a decline is felt.

During the event that focused mainly on the future of the Angolan oil sector, the RNA-International interviewed the Executive Chairman of the Africa Energy platform, N.J Ayuk, who said, on the occsion, that the Angola LNG projects is to move foward.

Mr. Ayuk congratulated Exxon Mobile on the great job done in Angola.
