The US is ready to boost cooperation with Angola in space programs

US State Secretary Anthony Blinken announced in Luanda that his country is interested in cooperating with Angola in the space domain to guarantee food security and reduce the negative impact of climate change.

Anthony Blinken, who was speaking during a visit to Luanda Science Center (CCL), said that, within the scope of the Artemis Agreement, Angola is the third American partner, in Africa, for the peaceful use of space.

He informed that NASA is already working in Angola to collect information on soil quality and water waste management, to obtain data to improve seeds and strengthen food security.
