The country is celebrating the National Culture Day on the Centenary of Dr Agostinho Neto.

To mark the date, several cultural activities are being held countrywide with highlight to poem recital, music and handing over of diplomas to artists who contributed for the national culture.

Meanwhile, professor Patricio Batshikama highlights the importance of the celebration of the National Culture Day.

Patricio Batshikama added that it is time to recover our origins because many people have lost their roots.
