Angolans highlight the role of the former president for bringing peace to the country

Angolans continue to mourn the death of the former statesman Jose Eduardo dos Santos.

Some of them believe that Jose Eduardo dos Santos gave all his best for the country to be in peace.

José Severino, the president of the Angolan Industrial Association said that José Eduardo dos Santos was key for the country to achieve peace in 2002.

He added that Jose Eduardo extended his solitarity for the liberation of the Southern African region.

Diplomats hails José Eduardo dos Santos personality in Africa

Diplomatic corp acccreditted in Angola continues to highlight the personality of the former president. Ambassadors from Namibia and South Africa praised the role Jose Eduardo dos Santos played for the Southern African Region. They said that MR Dos Santos complied with the mission of securing the SADC region free from the colonial yoke and end of apartheid regime in South Africa.
