Fistula Foundation carries out more than two thousand surgeries in Angola

The Fistula Foundation has carried out about two thousand and 3 hundred and 29 fistula surgeries in Angola.

This was announced by the representative of the United Nations Fund for Population (UNFPA), Mady Biaye.

Mady Biaye said that his institutions has been strongly supporting the control of fistula under the sexual health reproduction target.

Mady Biaye added that the development of fistula is due to the fact of 50 per cent of women giving birth out of hospitals.
