UNFPA supports the 2024 general censos in Angola

The United Nations Fund for Population (UNFPA) has been implementing innovative and strategic interventions programmes in Angola.

The implementation of such projects are part of the existing partnership between the angolan government and the UNFPA.

According to the UNFPA representative to Angola, Mady Biaye these inteventions includes policy dialogue, advocacy, evidence generation and capacity building.

Mady Biaye added that his institution is also supporting the National Statistic Institute to hold the 2024 General Census.
