Angola to be free from landmines by 2028
Angola needs at least more 7 years to be free from the landmines. This was said by the spokesperson of the Inter-ministerial Commission for Humanitarian Assistance (CNIDAH), Adriano Gonçalves. According to the official, the country will have by the end of 2021 about 70 square kilomenters contaminated area. He said that their clearence average is about 10 kilometers per year, showing that Angola will be free of landmines by 2028.
