Angola pledges commitment to secure peace and stability in the Great Lakes Region

Angola is committed to secure peace and stability in the international Conference of the Great Lakes region.

This was assured by the angolan president, while addressing the meeting of the United Nations Security Council on the Central African Republic.

According to the angolan head of state, the idea is to strengthen the region in order to face the challenges of peace and security as well as stability and development of the region.

Joao Lourenço stressed that Angola count on the support of its international partners namely African Union, European Union and the United Nations to achieve this goal.
