ANGOLAN GOVERNMENT IS BETTING ON THE COUNTRY´S ECONOMIC DIVERSIFICATION

The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, reiterated in Luanda the commitment of the government in establishing and consolidating in the country a society that respects the rule of law and the construction of a market economy.

João Lourenço was speaking from the Presidential Palace, in Luanda, as a special guest at the opening session of the 44th session of the Board of Governors of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

President Joao Lourenço revealed that his government intends to effectively diversify the national economy and change, the country’s economic structure, which is highly dependent on the resources of the oil sector.
