The director general of the National Institute for Agriculture, David Tunga said that Covid-19 pandemic has strongly affected food producing system in the country.

David Tunga, who was speaking on the drought situation in the country said that movement restrictions have reduced production.

The official added that despite this constraints, peasant in the rural areas continued with their production, which helped to secure food to the angolan consummers.
