Angola´s GDP records a 2.7% growth in 2020

Angola’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) recorded a 2.7% growth in the third quarter of 2020.

The activities that contributed positively to this growth were commerce (with 1.6%), real estate services and rental (0.7%), manufacturing industry (0.6 %), agribusiness (0.2%) and miscellaneous (0.3%).

According to the director general of National Statistics Institute, Chaney Joao, such results are still due to the “relief measures” taken by the angolan government after the outbreak of coronavirtus in Angola, in March 2020.
