Repatriation of angolans in South Africa to start on Saturday

The Angolan Government will as from Saturday begin a new phase of repatriation of Angolan citizens in South Africa, within the scope of Covid-19.

In this operation, TAAG is expected to bring 1,369 angolan passengers who are in Johanesburg and cape Town.

This was announced by the State Minister and Chief of the President’s House of Security, Pedro Sebastião, while updating the new measures of the Situation of Public Calamity in the country, which is in force until February 9.

According to Pedro Sebastião there also 876 TAAG passangers in transit in Luanda willing to travel to Johannesburg.
