Baixa de Kassanje farmers must always be remebered

The country celebrated the 4^th of January the Day of Colonial Repression of Baixa de Kassanje.

The Central act was presided over by the minister of Defence, Joao Ernesto dos Santos in the city of Moçamedes, Southern Namibe province under the motto ‘’4^th January – Memory of Angolan Resistance against Colonialism’’.

Professor Chionga Nunes considers that people from Baixa de Kassanje should always be remembered.

According to him, what happened on January 4^th was pure act of barbarity from the colonial regime.
