Prodesi implementation reduced imports to the local market

The Production Support, Export Diversification and Import Replacement Program (Prodesi) has financed this year 661 projects.

According to the minister of Economy and Planning, Sergio Santos, who presented Podesi data for 2021, the projects were estimated at 727 billion kwanzas.

One thousand and 199 projects were submitted to banks, of which 661 were approved and 191 are in negotiations, allowing the creation of 54 thousand and 241 jobs and the registration of four thousand producers.

The implementation of Prodesi allowed the reduction of imports, with the substitution of imported products for national production.
