Global Fund and UNDP supports the supply of anti-retroviral for patients with HIV/Aids in Angola
The Global Fund and the United Nations Development Programme have supported the angolan government in supplying anti-retroviral for patients with HIV/Aids. The idea was to continue mantaining people in treatment during the Covid-19 lockdown period. According to the UNDP Health Coordinator in Angola, Mamison Rangers, the second response to mitigate the effects of the pandemic was the distribution of nutritional support to the families of people affected with HIV.
