Economic measures boost local production in the country- economist says

The Angolan government set a series of measures to stimulate the local production in the country.

Some of these measures are the reduction of the Value added Tax (VAT) from 14 to 5% for agricultural inputs and facitiation of credit line to famers via Programme of Substitution of Import and Promotion of Exports (PRODESI).

According to economist, Hernany Luis, these measures come to support producers to boost local production.

He believes that it is also an incentive for the local producers to start exporting products to other african markets:
