Angola has recorded great progress in controlling HIV/Aids transmission from mother to children. According to Unicef representative to Angola, Antero Pina, there was a reduction of children afected with HIV/Aids from 26 percent to 15 percent. Antero Pina highlighted the role played by the first Lady of the Republic with the implementation of Born to Shine Project in the country.

ADPP Angola held in Luanda an innovation camp as part of STEM Africa project directed to 110 students. The event was meant to upgrade the students with skills in the subjects of Science, Technology, Engeneering and Mathmatics. ADPP Program director Karem Hasenberg pointed the contribution of her institution in the teaching system in Angola.
