Angola is holding its second general population and housing census in septemebr this year. The event is meant to collect data about the angolan population on their way of living. The National Statistics Institute forecasts an estimation growth of the angolan population at 3 to 3.1 percent. This was said by the deputy General Director of the Institute, Hernany Luis, who added that women will continue leading the statistics.

Angola achieved great progress in promoting women empowerment in the different fields of the society. This recognition comes from angolan women who believe that the government has been creating policies for their empowerment.
