Angola will pay a special attention to the development of Africa making its surplus energy available to mitigate the needs of several countries in this sector.

This was announced in Addis Ababa by the Angolan statesman, João Lourenço, in his capacity as President-in-Office of the African Union (AU), during the 38th Ordinary Summit of the Heads of State and Government of the continental organization.

President João Lourenço highlighted the importance of the Lobito Corridor and the Tanzanian TAZARA Railways for Africa.
