Angolan government and FAO sign the Country Programming Framework agreement for 2020-2023 period

Angolan government and the Representative of Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) in Angola signed the Country Programming Framework (CPF) agreement for 2020-2023 period.

The signing took place during a meeting between the UN Management Committee and the Angolan government in Luanda.

The agreement provides supports for the country in the sectors of agriculture, family farming and fishing and sets areas as the increase of food security and nutrition improvement.

The total of necessary resources to launch Country Programming Framework is estimated at about USD 57 million.
