USA regards Angola as reconciliation example

The commander of the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM), General Dagvin Anderson, recognized Angola a few days ago as a strategic partner and an example of reconciliation, stability, and international cooperation, at the closing of the African Chiefs of Defense Conference in Luanda.

On the same occasion, the Chief of the General Staff of the Angolan Armed Forces, General Altino Carlos, reaffirmed the country’s commitment to strengthening military cooperation in Africa to consolidate peace and address common threats.

In a related story, General Dagvin Anderson, reported that security sometimes is dependent on economic development.
