Índia ambassador praises Agostinho Neto
In the meantime, the Indian ambassador to Angola Vidhu Nair praised the qualities of the first President of Angola Dr António Agostinho Neto. The ambassador also stressed that India was one of the countries that supported Angola during its path to Independence. VIDHU NAIR mentioned that bilateral cooperation relations between Angola and India are moving in good directions.
The chairman of the Board of Directors and executive director of Chevron, Mike Wirth highlighted the ongoing reforms in the energy sector in Angola. The official said with the implementation of these reforms the country has become more competitive in the world market encouraging prospects in regarding gas exploration. Mike Wirth revealed that the company produces in Angola about 250 thousand barrels of oil per day and 250 cubic feet of gas per day.
