Angola and the US sign new agreements

Angola and the US signed in Dallas, state of Texas, three investment agreements, in the fields of renewable energy, public works and telecommunications.

The first, valued at US$872.24 million, is intended for the construction of two solar energy plants, and was signed by the Minister of Finance, Vera Daves, the president of Eximkbank, Rita Jo Lewis, and the head of ING Capital Bank, Gemma Bae. The second agreement refers to the construction of 186 metal bridges, which encompasses a project worth at US$427.92 million.
